Need a shower? Kids resisting bath time? Well I may have the solution for you! This splash pad located on Charlton and Park just down the street from St. Joseph Hospital was one I had been looking forward to! With a large dragon shooting water out of its mouth, this splash pad is a stand out among others when it comes to design. But how well does it rate? Let’s find out:

This splash pad should win an award for the most water features jam-packed into a small area! Somehow they squeezed a dragon, three water buckets, a ring, a sphere that spouts water and a variety of other sprays that shoot from the ground. Here’s where it gets interesting: the water that comes from the dragon must be 5x the water pressure of our home shower. Beyond that, the buckets that dump water do so quickly, frequently and are surrounded by ground sprays that are quite intense! Needless to say, this is perfect for someone looking to get soaked but at the same time, may be intimidating for smaller babies/kids like ours. Location is great as it lies next to a big, sprawling playground and there are plenty of trees and places to sit.
Overall: Perfect for brave kids looking to get drenched. Intimidating for babies and younger kids. Bring a change of clothes!
